Do they attract the right people and inspire them to achieve? Gary will reveal the latest multi-method research that shows how the right culture-building initiatives will help employees thrive at work.

9:00 am – Mercer Talent Trends
Having impact today is about delivering compelling experiences: employee experience, consumer experience, even a dining experience. Simply offering total rewards programs does not create a notable employee experience and is not enough for today and tomorrow’s labor markets. Join us to learn how forward-thinking organizations are reframing their total rewards approach to differentiate an extraordinary employee experience and drive successful business results.

10:00 am – Building an Engagement Culture: A Focus on Values, Purpose, Passion, and Performance
When times get tough in the talent market, senior executives turn to engagement and culture as a way to attract and retain employees. Many engagement efforts fall by the wayside because they are programmatic solutions as opposed to a reflection of belief, what is valued, and what people want from work. What if we looked at this a different way?—What if engagement was the starting point and you could build on that to create a purpose driven, passionate workforce capable of delivering superior business performance? In this session we will look at new ideas and practices that translate engagement into a moment by moment experience for your workforce—ever person, every day. We will look at how companies have transformed their workplaces through practices that develop people and elevate the employee experience. You will learn actionable ideas and practical solutions that incorporate emerging out-of-the-box thinking in the market today.
