Bhavani Hunter joined Avvo in 2016. She has over 20 years of experience in large and mid-size organizations providing strategic leadership to senior managers in startup and fast growth organizations. Her experience includes talent acquisition and talent management, training, career development and employee relations. She has experience in various industries including tech startup, wireless, professional services, healthcare, and nonprofit.

Bhavani supports growth companies by linking people strategies to business strategies. Bhavani’s most recent positions have been as Vice President of People and Culture, Associate Director, Director and Division HR Director for wireless, cable and tech start up organizations including Verizon Wireless, Comcast Cable and Avvo. Bhavani’s contributions have been in leading effective change management strategies, increasing the efficiency of teams she supports and/or leads; implementing creative solutions to getting top talent and increasing engagement of employees at all levels. She has experience creating talent management programs that include effective on boarding, agile performance management and succession planning.

Bhavani earned her Executive MBA degree in Human Resource Management from Kaplan University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Montana, Missoula MT. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Bhavani’s passion is around the betterment of people and their lives.
