Chief Business Officer
David Baga is Lyft’s Chief Business Officer, overseeing the fast-growing Lyft Mobility Solutions enterprise team. David joins Lyft after serving as Chief Revenue Officer at Rocket Lawyer for four years, during which he grew revenues from $2 million to over $40 million. Prior to Rocket Lawyer, David spent seven years building and overseeing record-setting sales teams at Oracle. In addition to his recent appointment at Lyft, David also actively advises startups on go-to-market strategy.
Joining Airbnb in May of 2015, Jason brings over 22 years of hospitality experience to his role in Business Travel. Over the past 15 years while living in the city of San Francisco, he held Director of Sales and Marketing positions with Hilton, Marriott and Wyndham Hotels.

Kate currently lead the talent acquisition team for the business functions (Operations, Customer Experience, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Legal, Finance, IT, Office, Government Relations). Over the past 3 years, our team has grown 5x while the company has grown 15x. The team manages full-cycle strategic partnership with our internal clients from kick-off to successful close. The team also runs programs across the company geared toward onboarding, training, interview preparation and best practices. In addition to recruiting, Kate served as People Business Partner to G&A and Marketing (200+ team members) with 2 directs for 2 years focusing on coaching, org development, performance management, compliance and employee relations.
Before joining Lyft, Kate was an Associate at Russell Reynolds Associates (RRA), an executive recruiting firm placing c-suite executives at high-growth tech startups across all functions. Prior to RRA, Kate was in the rotational development program for Morningstar, Inc. where she focused on data analysis and product management for Morningstar.com.
Kate received her BA from Northwestern University and went on to get her JD from Fordham and pass the NY bar (you know, for fun! :)). During law school, her experiences ranged from IP work for COACH, Inc., real estate law for Newmark Knight Frank, and bankruptcy law for the 1st Circuit in Maine.

Jeff is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience in the human resources (HR) field. He serves on several Boards for progressive HR technology companies including Everwise, Impraise, and SmartRecruiters. Jeff serve as a growth consultant to many high growth progressive software companies across the globe.
Prior to this, Jeff was the Chief People Officer at Atlassian. He was responsible for HR, Facilities, Employee Experience, and Shared Services worldwide. Jeff was instrumental in driving a successful IPO and growth agenda over the past four years enabling Atlassian to go from 300 team members and $100M in revenue to 2000 and over $600M in revenue and a market cap of more the $6B. Prior to joining Atlassian in 2012, Jeff was CPO at SuccessFactors, an SAP company, where he built the company’s HR function, led a series of key initiatives to produce more than $25 million in savings, helped drive an innovative product improvement strategy and best practice sharing with customers worldwide, and doubled the company’s salesforce with a record-breaking 600 new hires in one year. Previously, Jeff was Chief HR Officer at Safeco, a personal insurance company, where he made the largest overhaul to the company’s rewards program in its’ history and designed a progressive talent management agenda to support a new high growth market expansion business strategy. Jeff has held various HR leadership roles at Microsoft, General Electric and Bell South. Jeff is a Six Sigma BlackBelt and holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, and a Master’s degree in HR management from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
Carmel Galvin is chief human resources officer of Glassdoor, responsible for directing all the people functions of the company, including strategic human resources planning, learning and development, talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, employee engagement and culture management, compliance issues, and more. She brings nearly 25 years of extensive international experience in HR from information services, tech and finance industries. Her background includes a particular focus on executive/leadership coaching and developing organizational culture and employee engagement programs. Most recently, Carmel served as senior vice president and CHRO at Advent Software, where she oversaw the company’s global people strategies and programs. Prior to Advent, she served as vice president of talent and culture development for Deloitte’s new-venture accelerator, advising a growing portfolio of innovative companies on how to scale and adjust their culture and talent programs. Carmel holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and business from Trinity College Dublin, and completed a Master’s Degree in Business Studies at the University College Dublin’s Smurfit School of Business.

Mark Lipscomb is Vice President of Human Resources at Tesla Motors, Inc. Tesla’s goal is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Based in Palo Alto, California, Tesla designs and manufactures electric vehicles as well as renewable energy storage. Mark’s focus is on driving organizational and customer engagement, talent selection and coaching and delivering exceptional results through teams. Prior to Tesla, Mark was Vice President and General Manager at Stryker Corporation, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies. Mark held a variety of positions within Stryker Corporation in Operations, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, and General Management.
Prior to joining Stryker, Mark was a U.S. Naval Officer where he where he received the Commendation Medal for his leadership of operations off Iraq. Mark is also an avid youth coach and was Head Coach for the Stanford University Men’s Lacrosse Team where he coached for several years. Mark is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, University of Nebraska, and Stanford Graduate School of Business. He resides in San Jose, CA with his wife, Jennifer, and three children, Claire, Emily, and Matthew.

Dawn Lyon is vice president of corporate affairs of Glassdoor, overseeing corporate communications, employer branding, government affairs, public policy, economics bureau, content marketing, investor relations and corporate social responsibility. Dawn has more than two decades of experience leading global corporate communications and public affairs organizations as well as consulting growing technology companies. Dawn helped launch Glassdoor in 2008 and remained a senior consultant until she joined the company full-time in 2015. She is also founder and senior advisor of LyonSHARE Communications Group, a strategic communications consultancy she founded in 2004. She has extensive experience building and running communications departments and programs for major brands including Zillow, eBay, Expedia, Hotwire, Chevron, Cendant (now Travelport), CheapTickets, Yahoo! and more. Dawn holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in political science from San Diego State University and an executive certificate from the Center for Public Policy and Management from the University of Washington. Ben Nauchbaur, VP Customer Strategy & Sales, Reflektive, oversees go-to-market strategy and customer acquisition for Reflektive’s agile performance management platform. Ben is passionate about helping HR leaders evolve performance management from an outdated annual review process to an agile, lightweight system centered on real-time feedback and talent development. Zaina joined Yelp in 2011 and built the Global HR Operations function from inception to current. She has supported the company to successfully scale and grow from pre-IPO of 600 employees to current 4000+ employees globally. Previously, Zaina worked for 10 years in the Retail & Consumer space and held several HR and management roles at Levi Strauss, Target and Mervyns. She has led a range of HR functional areas – recruiting, talent management, employee relations, HR systems, compensation and benefits.
